How do you apply Math to your life?

I mean unless you want to be a Mathematician or Scientist, how would you apply Math to your life? I mean we were taught so many things such as simultaneous equations, average speed, etc etc. Do you ever apply what you've learnt in your life apart from basic calculations which is obviously useful?
