What's the year of my carburetor?

My engine is pieced together with all different parts on in, and the person who had it before me tried to rebuild the carb, well, they messed up the gasket, and i'm going to rebuild it the right way. I've read multiple forums and Q&A's and i figured out where the code to tell the year was. the code is 1kca, i believe it's a ford engineering code. Can anybody tell me what year this carb was made so i can buy the appropriate parts to rebuild it?
