Emigrating to BC, Canada?

Hi, I am looking at emigrating to Canada from the UK and Vancouver island is the place i keep coming back to when looking at areas...it's beautiful! All i really need to know is whatt you guys think are the best places to live, I have recently graduated in psychology and am training to be a psychotherapist and my partner is a baker. We have been looking at lake Cowichan and the surrounding areas, as well as the Sunshine coast but would love to hear about other areas too in terms of things to do (we love anything, places to eat/drink,water sportss, shopping, hiking etc.) I would love tosomewheree that is visually stunning butisn'tt too secluded, ie. has plenty of jobs. i would appreciatee any help!!! thanks!!!
