How do i combat my chocolate addiction?

i eat relatively very healthily but my main problem is that i think i am addicted to chocolate. I've tried missing it out of my diet slowly i.e. having it once a day rather than 4 times. Then builiding up to only eating it 1 evry 2 days. both have failed everytime i have tried and keep getting this urge to have it. it's made worse when i go into a shop and I'm surrounded by choc. recently i've been trying to replace my love for choc. for apples and yoghurt (problem with this is the brand i like is really fattening). it worked last week but don't know how long it will last.
