University of Chicago?

I am highly interested in attending the University of Chicago for my graduate studies. I currently attend a mid sized state college, but am in the Honors program, have a 3.9 GPA, and have professors who will write excellent letters of recommendation for me. My current majors are English and Russian studies, and I plan on pursuing a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature. I am currently taking Russian, plan on starting German next year, and will be brushing up on my French, which I studied for three years in high school. Other than doing extremely well on the GRE and writing a solid essay, what else can I do to improve my chances of being accepted?
